  1. How to Use Click Select Images, or drag and drop multiple images onto the page. You can also use keyboard shortcuts to copy and paste multiple images.   2. Compress JPG This tool uses an ImageMagick image processing core powered by WebAssembly to compress JPG images securely in your browser. Your images are never uploaded to a server. Use the quality slider to control compression: higher quality settings preserve more colors and edge details, making them suitable for high-fidelity images and Retina displays; lower quality settings reduce file size for faster web loading or strict size limits, but may introduce more visible artifacts, noise, or compression marks.
  3. Optimize PNG Reduce PNG file size by converting images to an 8-bit (PNG-8) palette format and reducing the number of colors. You can control the compression effect with the color setting: more colors preserve more image details and color accuracy, while fewer colors create smaller files but may cause more noticeable color changes. Please note: PNG-8 is not the same as regular PNG compression. PNG-8 converts images into indexed color mode with up to 256 colors. It works best for illustrations, icons, and screenshots, but photos may show visible banding or color loss.
  4. Compress WebP WebP is a modern image format designed for the web, offering smaller file sizes while maintaining good visual quality. You can fine-tune the output with the quality setting: higher quality values are suitable for images that require detailed textures, small text, and sharp edges; lower quality values are ideal for faster page loading and smaller file sizes. Excessive compression may cause blocking artifacts or loss of fine details.
  5. Compress GIF Use ImageMagick to optimize GIF palettes while preserving animation frames and reducing file size. You can adjust the palette size from 2 colors up to 256 colors: more colors preserve animation details and color accuracy, while fewer colors create smaller files but may introduce color distortion, banding, or dithering. Reducing colors usually works best for simple animations with limited colors.
  6. Compress More Image Formats Supports AVIF, HEIC/HEIF, BMP, TIFF, SVG, and other image formats. Different formats are optimized using suitable processing methods: AVIF uses efficient encoding to reduce file size while preserving image details; HEIC/HEIF, BMP, and TIFF can be converted to highly compressed JPEG files to save storage space and improve web loading speed; SVG files are optimized by removing unnecessary data while maintaining visual quality.
  7. Compress Large Images For high-resolution images such as 2K and 4K photos, lowering compression quality alone may not always achieve the desired file size. Adjusting the image resize ratio can further reduce file size while maintaining good visual quality. For example, a 2560 × 1440 JPEG image can be resized and compressed to around 50KB.
